Don’t Have to

Absence of obligation. You can do something if you want to but it is not an obligation.

Ausencia de obligación. Puedes hacer algo si quieres pero no es una obligación.

You don’t have to wear a suit at the party if you don’t want to.

No hace falta que lleves traje en la fiesta si no quieres.

You don’t have to take a camera on holiday but it’s a good idea.

No es obligatorio llevar camera en las vacaciones pero es buena idea.
